Pre-Employment
EMedHx works with employers in relation to prospective employees for pre-employment assessment to determine whether the candidates are fit for their proposed role.
What will happen during the pre-employment examination?
The main component of the pre-employment medical includes a questionnaire about the candidates medical history, as well as other medical tests that may be required by the employer such as:

Standard or Comprehensive?
Pre-Employment medical assessments are generally broken up into standard or comprehensive. They include, but are not limited to:
Standard pre-employment assessments
- Height, weight, Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Vision Tests (near, distance and colour)
- Cardiovascular examination (heart check, blood pressure, pulse)
- Doctor Musculoskeletal assessment
- Examination for hernias and other abdominal abnormalities
- Urinalysis for diabetes and disorders of the internal organs
- Respiratory examination (chest sounds)
Comprehensive pre-employment assessments
